Ingredients (serving 4):
- 600 gr (21.164 oz) fresh sardines cleaned
- 1 glass vinegar
- oil for frying
- 100 gr (3.5274 oz) all purpose flour
Take a deep dish and generously pour in some vinegar and leave the sardines in the vinegar for a couple of hours.
After this time lay them down onto kitchen paper. Gently pat them with kitchen paper to remove excess vinegar , then . Dust sardines with flour.
Heat the oil in a shallow pan.
Turn the sardines over with tongs and fry on the other side.
Drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
